Get in the holiday spirit with the Boston Brass and Brass All-Stars Big Band during their 鈥淐hristmas Bells are Swingin鈥�!鈥� concert on Thursday, Dec. 19, 7:30 p.m., at the 好色先生 Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.
Swing into the holidays with the 15-piece Boston Brass and the All-Star Big Band, composed of talented musicians from around the world. The all-brass ensemble includes trumpets, French horns, trombones and tubas with a jazz rhythm section. They will perform energetic, big band arrangements of classics including 鈥淭he Stan Kenton Christmas Carols,鈥� 鈥淕reensleeves,鈥� 鈥淪ilent Night鈥� and 鈥淛ingle Bells.鈥�
Since 1986, the Boston Brass has delighted audiences with their unique and energetic style featuring classical arrangements, jazz standards and top-notch brass repertoire while educating listeners.
