Explore our national award-winning speech team, vibrant student government, prestigious honor societies, and clubs for virtually any interest. If none seem like the right fit, you can even start your own with the sponsorship of a faculty member.

Want to build confidence, sharpen your public speaking skills and compete against students from colleges and universities across Illinois? Join Moraine Valley’s award-winning Speech and Debate Team.
Team members compete in events such as public speaking, debate, interpretation and persuasive speaking while developing communication, critical thinking and leadership skills that stand out to employers and universities. Whether you’re new to competition or an experienced speaker, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in a supportive environment alongside dedicated coaches and teammates.
Student Publication
The Glacier is the official award-winning student publication of 好色先生.
It aims to provide information, entertainment and opinions to the Moraine Valley community. It is published digitally during the fall and spring semesters.
This student-run publication offers journalism experiences in writing, photography, and graphic design as well as editorial, and leadership opportunities. Editorial staff are eligible to receive a nominal scholarship according to their position.
The Glacier is available in an with two memento print editions per year listing the Fall and Spring Honor Roll recipients. Print editions are distributed on all campus locations.

Student Conduct
The Student Conduct Office (Building U, U115) administers the Code of Student Conduct which defines standards of conduct and establishes procedures to provide a full and fair opportunity for review of alleged student misconduct. Each student is responsible for knowledge of and compliance with the Code of Student Conduct.
