The Digital Art and Design: Professional certificate builds on foundational design skills to prepare students for careers in graphic design, digital media and visual communication. Through hands-on projects using industry standard software and equipment, students strengthen their abilities in layout, typography, branding, interface design and digital production while developing the professional workflows employers expect.
Students learn to create compelling visual communications for print and digital media while working with design systems, production specifications and client-focused projects. The program culminates in a professional portfolio that showcases technical skills, creative problem solving and real world design experience, preparing graduates for internships, employment or continued study.
This 30-credit-hour certificate includes all coursework from the Digital Art and Design: Fundamentals certificate and applies in full to the Digital Art and Design Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.

The Digital Art and Design: Professional certificate prepares students with the creative, technical and production skills needed for entry-level careers in graphic design and digital media. Through portfolio development and hands-on experience using industry-standard software, students graduate ready to contribute to creative teams, marketing departments, print shops and design studios.
Graduates may also choose to continue their education by applying all 30 credit hours toward the Digital Art and Design Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.

This 30-credit-hour certificate can be completed in as little as one year of full-time study. It includes all coursework from the Digital Art and Design: Fundamentals certificate and applies directly to the Digital Art and Design Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.
