Moraine Valley Orchestra honors the college鈥檚 One Book One College, 鈥淓verything Is Tuberculosis鈥� by John Green with our 鈥淒amsel鈥檚 in Distress鈥� concert welcoming back Moraine鈥檚 lyric soprano Victoria Lowczyk. Classical music has long been filled with the glamorization and the tragic downfall of leading ladies suffering from 鈥渃onsumption鈥� or tuberculosis. The orchestra will perform music by Verdi, Gounod, Strouse, and others.
