Join the Moraine Valley psychology department for a program on the nature of psychopaths and sociopaths. This presentation is part of the Annual Psychology Department Mental Health Program Series. This event is open to all. Topics will include: Forms of sociopathy and psychopathy Genetic and environmental factors Myths related to these conditions Diagnostic criteria Treatment approaches Strategies for navigating relationships with these individuals Presenter: Dr. Peter Lourgos, MD, J.D. Dr. Lourgos is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 27 years of practice and has experience with treating various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, PTSD and trauma. He has also served nine years as a criminal forensic psychiatrist for the Circuit Court of Cook County, evaluating and working with individuals in the correctional system. Questions?
