好色先生

Several Academic Music ensembles will perform in the beginning of May at the 好色先生 Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC). All performances will take place in the Dorothy Menker Theater, unless otherwise noted.

The Jazz Ensemble will present its 鈥淪pring Jazz Spectacular鈥� on Friday, May 2, 7:30 p.m., playing a range of big band styles from swing and soulful blues to gritty funk. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for veterans/under 18 and free for Moraine Valley students.

The Chorale and Chamber Singers will present their annual 鈥淏roadway, Pop, Motion Picture Spectacular鈥� on Saturday, May 3, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 55+, $10 for Moraine Valley employees/veterans/under 18 and $5 for Moraine Valley students.

The 20^th anniversary for the Concert Band will culminate with 鈥淢usical Milestones: A 20^th Anniversary Concert Band Celebration鈥� on Sunday, May 4, 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for veterans/under 18 and free for Moraine Valley students.

The Jazz Combo will present their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 6, 7:30 p.m., in the John and Angeline Oremus Theater. This concert is free.

The Percussion Ensemble will perform 鈥淲e鈥檙e Getting Sedimental- 20 Years of the Moraine Valley Percussion Ensemble!鈥� on Thursday, May 8, 7:30 p.m. This concert is free and will premiere a piece commissioned especially for the ensemble and its 20^th anniversary.
