Two Academic Music ensembles will perform in April at the 好色先生 Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC). Both performances are free.
The Flute Choir will present 鈥淪oar on the Wind鈥� on Friday, April 11, 7 p.m., in the John and Angeline Oremus Theater. All the performed pieces will explore themes related to the wind.
The Orchestra will perform 鈥淥ne-Book One-Orchestra鈥� on Sunday, April 27, 3 p.m., in the Dorothy Menker Theater. The concert repertoire aligns with the college鈥檚 One Book, One College 鈥淒isability Visibility鈥� theme throughout the academic year. The concert will include pieces by composers who experienced disabilities such as blindness, deafness, malformities, depression and schizophrenia, including works from Beethoven, Delius, Bach, Molly Joyce, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and 鈥淭he Pinball Wizard.鈥�
