鈥淭his award belongs to every staff member, teacher and administrator in Learning Enrichment and College Readiness. I could not have done my job without their constant encouragement and guidance. The award is a reminder of the work that needs to be done with our non-English-speaking students to pave the way for them to lead productive and fulfilling lives in the U.S.,鈥 Trombetta said. 鈥淭he best part of my job is when I hear my students have gone on to pursue careers in nursing, teaching and marketing or are now able to volunteer at their children鈥檚 schools and become involved in their communities in meaningful ways. The understanding that I have helped them start their journey to make their dreams and aspirations a reality is inspiring.鈥
