The Addictions Studies program provides students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to work in counseling, recovery support, and human services settings. Coursework explores addiction, mental health, counseling techniques, ethics, case management, and recovery support while preparing students to work with diverse populations in community-based environments.

The ASL Deaf Studies Certificate program prepares students with a strong foundation in American Sign Language and Deaf culture. Students build the language and cultural awareness needed to communicate effectively and respectfully with Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing individuals.
Through hands-on coursework, students develop skills in ASL, visual communication and cultural understanding while gaining insight into the communities they may serve. The program also provides a pathway for students interested in applying to the American Sign Language Interpretation program.

The Fitness Trainer program prepares students for entry-level roles in the growing fitness industry. Students learn how to assess fitness levels, set goals and design effective exercise programs while developing the skills needed to coach and motivate clients.
Through a combination of coursework and practical training, students gain experience in exercise science, human movement, strength and conditioning and program design. The program emphasizes the application of fitness methodologies and prepares students to sit for national certification exams.

The Sign Language Interpretation Certificate program prepares students for careers working with Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing individuals in a variety of settings. Students develop advanced skills in American Sign Language, interpretation techniques and cultural understanding needed to support effective communication.
Through hands-on coursework, students build proficiency in ASL, visual communication and real-time interpretation while gaining experience in ethical practices and professional standards. The program is also ideal for individuals who want to strengthen their ASL skills for personal or professional use.
This two-year certificate can serve as a pathway to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree in sign language interpretation, Deaf studies or Deaf education.

The Therapeutic Massage Certificate program prepares students for careers helping clients manage stress, reduce pain and improve overall wellness through therapeutic massage techniques.
