This option is designed for students who desire immediate employment upon program completion.

  • Is NOT designed to transfer
  • Can be completed at 好色先生
  • Will prepare you to enter the workforce

Transfer Option

Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.), Associate in General Studies (A.G.S.)

This option is designed for students who wish to transfer to a bachelor鈥檚 degree program at a four-year college or university.

  • Is designed to transfer
  • Completion of general education requirements at Moraine Valley
  • Graduation after a minimum of 62 credit hours with an A.A., A.S., A.F.A., or A.G.S.
  • Once completed, you will transfer to a four-year institution into the major of your choice
  • Completion of major courses at a four-year institution
  • Graduation after a minimum of 120 credit hours with a Baccalaureate in Arts (B.A.) or Science (B.S.)

Standards of Academic Progress (SOAP)

GPA below 2.0 places students on academic restriction preventing them from registering or withdrawing from course until meeting with counselor takes place.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

As a college student, all information, records and correspondence are directed only to you as the student according to FERPA. Therefore, prior written consent from the student must be obtained before information may be disclosed to a third party.

Moraine Valley鈥檚 Academic Integrity Policy

Academic Integrity serves as the foundation to the learning process that enables the open exchange of ideas among students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Cheating and plagiarism does not promote academic integrity. Therefore, there are sanctions for multiple violations for cheating and/or plagiarism.

Smoke-Free Campus Act

Smoking is prohibited on all state-supported campuses of higher education in Illinois. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the Moraine Valley campuses except inside personal vehicles in parking lots. Persons found in violation will be ticketed and subject to student or employee discipline.

Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act

As an academic community, Moraine Valley is committed to providing an environment where learning and scholarship can flourish. The abuse of alcohol and other drugs by students, regardless of age and location (on or off campus) is prohibited by the Code of Student Conduct.
