DESCRIPTION:While the immediate unrest in Palestine is thousands of miles away from the college\, our students with family or roots in Palestine are feeling the impact in profound ways that take the form of trauma\, shock\, fear\, immense and ongoing sadness\, grief and a sense of despair. This discussion facilitated by Souzan Naser\, Moraine Valley counselor and professor\, will provide a safe space for Arab students to have open exchanges about how the genocide in Gaza has impacted their emotional well-being and explore strategies to center your perspective and build on your sense of purpose and confidence.
